Employment and Economic Development Plan

Council is developing an Employment and Economic Development Plan to set the direction for economic development in the Municipality. The plan will identify economic development initiatives that will enable Council and other stakeholders to:

 

• Support, attract and grow local businesses
• Optimise the economic potential of key sectors and locations
• Build relationships, linkages, connectivity and partnerships between stakeholders
• Improve the social and environmental sustainability of the economy
• Facilitate strategic and integrated decision making
