Exhibition of Fees and Charges for Parks and Sporting Grounds
At the September 2009 Ordinary Meeting, Leichhardt Council resolved to exhibit the proposed Fees and Charges for Parks and Sporting Grounds. This is the first review of fees and charges relating to parks, playing fields and sporting grounds since 1986.
In preparing the proposed fees and charges, Council recognised there was a need to reduce inequities in the system, and that the fees should reflect actual usage of sporting fields by sporting clubs.
The proposed fees and charges were also benchmarked against five other neighbouring and nearby comparable councils.
The proposed fees and charges are on public exhibition for a period of 28 days from Thursday 1 October 2009 until Wednesday 28 October 2009. Click on the following link to view the proposed fees and charges
