Road Closures/Occupancy
If a person wishes to close or partially close a road for any reason they must complete a road closure application form and get prior approval from Council.
To apply for a road closure permit the applicant will be required to do the following:
- Complete application form for Road Occupancy Permit (click on link below to download form)
- Permit fee is applicable (refer to application form) and must be paid upon application. Fee is waived for non-profit associations and community events.

Minimum of six weeks notice is required to process and approve an application.
- A road occupancy application must be reported to the Local traffic Committee for approval and subsequently reported to Council for final approval.
