Family Day Care

Family Day Care provides home-based child care for children aged 0-5yrs. As the children are cared for in small 'family' groups in carefully supervised private homes, it is particularly suitable for the younger age range.
A Co-ordinator is employed to select Care Providers and match them with families requiring care. Child Development Officers supervise the Care Providers' homes on a regular basis. Weekly play sessions and all equipment are supplied for the children.

Family Day Care schemes are licensed by the NSW Department of Community Services.
Child Care Benefit (CCB) is available to provide a sliding scale of fees to assist lower income families. Details of CCB can be obtained from your local Family Assistance Office.
